I’ve recently been spending time converting hundreds of samples from old floppy disks, zip drives and external drives so that I can future proof my sample library. It also means I can now load these samples onto the various apps I have on my iPhone. Some of these sounds are now over 20 years old, and I never imagined one day I’d be loading them onto a mobile phone.
